Just throwing this out there, Notch has also cancelled 0x10c. I have a lot of respect for the guy, but his history of finishing things is not fantastic.

That's really a pointless low blow at Notch. He's delivered a number of variations on Minecraft. Deciding not to make a very ambitious new game like 0x10c (which was also attracting a lot of very negative attention and pressure to be everything to everybody) is a different thing altogether.
