If Dems want to govern, they need to run on platforms that are popular with voters in marginal districts; not lefty fantasy stuff that is off-putting to normies.
I don't think Kamala or Biden collapse was due to what you're talking about at all. Dems are always running on centrist/right ideas as far as we've seen. On the contrary it's because they prevented real left ideas (Sanders) from running that they lost trust in their camp. They're about to repeat this next elections with Buttigieg or Newsom
