Elizabeth Holmes has quietly had her sentence reduced by 3 years, from the original 11 years to more like 8 years. Interestingly, Sunny Balwani - the second in command at Theranos - was not only sentenced for longer originally (13 years) but has also since only got less of a reduction (2 years). I wonder what role sex or race or family wealth/connections/privilege has to play in all this.
