My old printer died and I need a new one. But the field now seems packed with inefficient, DRM-laden printers needing a refill every 5 pages. Any recommendations for printers that
- just work, no nonsense
- primarily for B&W jobs but occasional color
- don't mind speed or ink/laser but reliability and working on WiFi / Linux strongly welcome.
- built in scanner welcome
I remember Brother printers were at one time highly recommended, but recently there were some voices of disappointment?
