My MBP has been overheating, throwing up artifacts all over the screen and freezing requiring a hard reboot. So far so good though... fingers crossed.

Also have a mid-2010 that I use mostly for design.

Definitely noticed the artifacts at 10.8 - haven't seen any during work today after updating to 10.8.1 though FC
