I'm just curious, if you unplug the TV and plug it back in, how quickly does it start up when in "dumb" mode? My problem with the Bravia TV I have is it takes a solid minute for the Android system to boot up, so I can't just put it on a smart plug and expect it to turn on when I turn it on...

That's the worst part of the smart TV. I don't use the smart features and have it disconnected from internet, but still takes a minute to boot up.

It's bad, but even worse if you have kids.
