Hindenburg Research goes after Super Micro (hindenburgresearch.com)

A friend worked there and he constantly complained about the company.

He said it was common for companies to pay extra for servers that had been burned in. But when they got them, it was obvious that they paid for nothing. The servers not only didn't boot, but they were missing parts and could never have booted.

On the other hand, I have friends who work in data centers and like their servers and rack them in large quantities.

It has been a few years, but last time I looked, they were the obvious choice for the cost-conscious build-your-own-server market.

The HP/Dell markup for servers is insane.

Yep, still are.

Right on the heels of claims of accounting irregularities by Hindenburg, Super Micro announced today that they would be filing their annual report late. Very bad look at a minimum, and the stock down 25% today.

Every Hindenburg reported company shoots back up pretty fast !!

Sauce; Hindenburg has an amazing track record calling out fraud. Better than any other short seller or regulator thay I am aware of

Well, yes. But at this point, any company they call out drops immediately, even before holders have time to do due diligence.

Hindenburg can pretty much print money.
