I don't have recent experience with Docker Desktop. Around the time they went commercial we still had lots of stability issues with it (eating memory and needing restarted) so we told their sales people to take a hike. We tried Rancher Desktop for a while but something with their docker-cli implementation didn't play nice with dev containers so our remaining Mac users jumped to colima. For my part I'd had enough of faking docker/containerd on a non-native platform so I'm daily driving Linux (Fedora on a Framework 13). No more VM's for me :)
