is it just me or is it hard to trust Business Insider at this point...? It seems to show its true colors over and over again as a crappy outlet just trying to survive on clicks in a post-Internet world that has made it pretty unprofitable to do actual deep journalism.

I mean this is just quoting an interview from a podcast so it's pretty easy to verify.

What's with the recent attacks on Business Insider of all publications?

Possibly clickbaity fluff pieces like this:

Stuff like this really doesn’t serve them well as a “serious” outlet.

I follow the author of the fluff on social and I found the Altman article interesting, but I’m less and less amused with filler pieces and suspect others are too.

Lest anyone thinks this is a recent trend, here's an amazing piece of journalism they published 10 years ago https://www.businessinsider.com/photos-cars-in-facebook-park...

I've been attacking Business Insider for many years. They're effectively a show biz tabloid, but business oriented. They frequently misreport things and write stories that are effectively "clickbait for executives".

They are generally a garbage outlet at this point.
