Are you really sure that facial images correspond with these so-called "emotions" (i.e, once again the "happy, angry, sad, shocked, and fearful" stuff; that is, facial expressions), and what are these so-called "true labels" against which you test your model?
Please elaborate why do you want to surveil your students, and how on earth you think surveillance and erroneous inference would improve anything? If anything, the effect should presumably be negative.

Why you didn't get ethics approval or even discuss ethical implications?
