2nd law of infodynamics and its implications for simulated universe hypothesis (aip.org)

Ignorant question: Is "2nd law of infodynamics" and presumably "1st law of infodynamics" part of mainstream science? Is it Physics even?

The introduction states:

In 2022, a new fundamental law of physics has been proposed and demonstrated, called the second law of information dynamics, or simply the second law of infodynamics.

And backs up this statement with [0]. Is it science? You decide.

How does this "law" apply to virus that evole a very short DNA to reproduce faster?

Is this going to be taught in college, e.g. in Physics 101 then?

Agreed on the '1st law of infodynamics', I could not find anything on it. Does someone has any info about it ?
