AI Has Already Created as Many Images as Photographers Have Taken in 150 Years (everypixel.com)

On a good year I may take upwards of 10,000 images (~27.4/day). A roll of film basically but with digital cameras and an ever present phone in hand its easy to do even if relatively uncommon for most people. Still I enjoy using dalle and midjourney to experiment with photograph 'simulations' and how long does that take to spit out a handful? It's a whole lot quicker than it takes me to setup something at home or walk downtown to snap some frames. And that's just considering AI photos with human intent, automated image generation with AI (and video generation ramping up) is really gonna open the flood gates. The signal to noise ratio is only getting worse I'm afraid and I just hope work with real human intent whether it be AI, digital or film is not lost in the tempest.
