The cadaver will degrade extremely quickly, thus its usefulness in a factory versus a small metal-based mechanism that has a MTBF measured in months to years is always preferred.

Modern pick-and-place machines are far better than any hugely variable cadaver, and decent quality ones will work for a very long time with little maintenance.
