That’s pretty unexpected (by me at least).

I remember their River North office was super generic office space.

Their current space used to be a cold storage warehouse that took over a year to defrost, and it was insulated with horsehair! They spent plenty of money to do it right.

This building is an iconic design but during construction they cheaped-out on the windows and HVAC, and then they didn’t do a whole lot of required maintenance. If Google does it right this time too, they are going to get a lot of goodwill from the architecture crowd.


Refreshing to see after Boeing and Citadel announced their departures. Proper steward to reno and operate the complex.
