I drove a Tesla before this update. Even then, whoever designed the UI had never adjusted basic controls while driving.
Also, the rear left door was misaligned from the factory.
Musk may deserve praise for dragging the auto industry into the electric era, but I'm not buying that thing.
Edit: thinking further, I think we can call it the "designed by nerds in California" disease.
Tesla is designed for the tech commuter on a freeway. Also in an area with a relatively mild climate and flat. They have no idea that the weather can change in 10 minutes as you go around the next hill. Even the turn signals are so smart they can't cover some situations more complex than a 90 degree crossroads.
Smartphones and laptops (especially Apple's) are mostly designed for a tech dude spending most of their time in a climate controlled office.
Iphones shut down when they're too hot/too cold. What if you have no choice because that's how the area you're in is?
The Apple laptops with the emoji keyboard were never tested outdoors, or they wouldn't get killed by the tiniest speck of dust.
