As a legal layman, is this possible class action territory?


IANAL, but I believe that as long as they reach their advertised speeds, they’re fine. Alternatively, you would need to prove malicious intent to deceive the benchmarks; but I can see Samsung make the argument for “we had to change to different $supplier because of chip shortage, and we incremented the revision number accordingly, and still reach advertised speeds”.
