And Linux devolved deeper into being a "Ikea OS" tarpit. If proprietary kernel modules have to do things the nvidia way (make the user go download separate components to install nvidia driver support) then that'll be awesome. Want ZFS? Download Ubuntu, then download ZFS separately.
