For me, if the speaker uses two syllables for "and", it's a strong American accent.


To me it's when water and wider are pronounced in a very similar way. Also, Americans abuse awesome.

Interesting. I don't pronounce either of those that way. I wonder what region of the country uses these pronunciations?
