Off-topic but maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Someone was telling me that space-x uses hazard/failure-mode identification as the basis of their engineering culture. Is there a good book describing the engineering culture at space x? I find myself as a curious software engineer now dabbling with a hardware product.
