In Germany you're expected to include your age and a headshot on your CV[0]. I always considered that an insane invitation to prejudice and have only ever done it once, for a job I was guaranteed to get.
I'm sure other countries have other expectations.
In the US it's easy to forget that not everybody is "against" discrimination in hiring, even in tech.
I've written for clients in probably 50+ countries, and many do commonly include photos and birthday. I would hope people are 'against' discrimination.
