We're doing just fine, thanks. Autism doesn't cause a lack of empathy. We're perfectly capable of seeing things from other peoples' perspectives. It's just that certain viewpoints/mindsets are aggravating from an aesthetic standpoint, which is why many don't learn to tolerate them.


I don't think you should be speaking for everyone who is not neurotypical, please.


I love this notion of others’ viewpoints or selves as aesthetic objects and will definitely, in one form or another and for one purpose or another, be stealing it.
