It’s ok for them to leave!

I’ve been stuck at 2000 rating for about 40 yrs, a huge break for college and a career. But I was never able to get to 2200. I’m retired now and really spending time to get to that goal. In reflection, in my youth, my analytical skills were pretty good. With age, I think they are weaker based on results. I’m also less competitive. My pattern mastery is really good. So, I think of my game performance as my wisdom allows me to compensate for my loss of analytical power. I do think formulating a middle game strategy is an area that can help improve my results and that is my primary focus.

My wife and hired a personal Spanish tutor

My wife is going to work with a Spanish tutor remotely who lives in Costa Rica and then work with her in person when we get there.

As far me, I learned a little in school decades ago so I knew basic grammar. DuoLingo gives me a guided learning path to explore. But I use ChatGPT to create drills like creating sentences using words and phrases “at an a2 level using present and past tense verbs” using whatever I need to practice.

I practice speaking using Apple’s voice to text and not ChatGPTs voice to text since it is a lot less forgiving.

I hired my wife one too. She's really enjoying it [1] [1] www.lacasitaspanishschool.com.au

Libraries are overwhelmed in their inability to store all the "good" books. I was cleaning out my book collection of, what I thought are really good books, but I came to the realization there is no space for them. So, they get sold or pulped.

The penalties were so light for Enron. I wonder how the AI Bubble will pop and what will become of the similar analysts who resisted the hype.

Hype is different from defrauding shareholders. Usually.

It would not surprise me, when the dust settles, there will be some defrauding to be discovered. The scale is too great. Enron suggesting they were the smarted guys in the room, was hype?

I had, at the time, a difficult boss need COPELAND. MS Word always wanted to change his name to COPULATE. I always caught it. Also, I had an idiot co worker named TONY. Narcissist. I accidentally typed TINY, and it just kinda stuck after that.

In the early 1980's I was taking some classes at my local community junior college. There was a homeless person also taking classes. He lived in a tent, in the forest, behind the college. He carried with him an Osborn computer. It was so crazy seeing him connect it to a pay phone.

And the wiki page is a little limited but this subject can get complex but still very cool.

The West Coast Downhill House Racing Event is scheduled! Good luck! Get those drainage systems checked.

One of our local, private, and financially troubled universities has their department hierarchy on line. I was amazed, while recently looking to get in contact with a person about auditing a class, how many "head of XXXX" positions existed in the university directory. It seems way more complicated that it needs to be, and I can see how they would be in financial dire straits.
