I transferred my crypto out of FTX.us. The pilot transaction was successful, but about the main transaction, while I’ve confirmation from FTX.us about initiation, 12+ hrs. Later, there is no confirmation of a successful completion of the transaction. I don’t see crypto in my either my FTX.us wallet or the target wallet. Is there a way I can get my crypto? Thanks!

Thanks. Looks like, I have missed the edit window. Resubmitting with the correct link.

Eloquently put! Personal experience- wrote to bbc and asked them to address/edit/revisit their past articles making someone a victim and a 'hero' for a cause several years earlier in light of a court ruling absolving the accused and establishing holes in the 'victimhood'. They refused it flat out! Took a few seconds for BBC's reputation to go 180 degrees in my mind.

Fascinating. I tried Hindi, and at best, it’s pretty similar to how Hollywood portrays a native Hindi speaker talk in English. Unlike the 1000+ Hindi speakers I know.

I'm puzzled at why my post - a reuter's article on this topic, posted around the same time - got flagged.

I almost thought that Tiananmen is taboo on hn. Glad to see this article posted, and not flagged.

I’ve been using this site and app for over an year, and love it! I wish it had more radio stations though!

> The quality of these engineering graduates is nothing more than a highschool dropout from America or Europe.

By America, I’m not sure what you meant - since you used Europe in the same sentence, I’m assuming you meant continent. But wait, there is no continent named ‘America’. It’s either South America, or North America. Collectively, they are sometimes referred as ‘America’s’. In case you meant country, you are incorrect in that too- there is no country named ‘America’. I’m one such Engineering graduate from India. I hope I didn’t sound like a high-school drop-out!

> Just because some college awarded them a degree doesn't mean they are entitled to high wage.

You seem to assume that the company was forced to hire them right out of college with no opportunity to interview them. Having interviewed for 30 Mech/Chem positions once, I was among 5000 engineers who were interviewed. Out if entire engineering curriculum, the interviewer asked me to make an iron-carbon diagram on the spot. Leave high-school drop outs, most engineers -from around the world - would be pretty hard pressed to get it right in an interview for a plant engineer position. Indian job market is a high supply-low demand market for engineers, and interviews could be pretty grueling!

The litmus test, IMHO, should be if any other American competitors of Zoom - viz. Google Meet, FaceTime, Teams, fb Messenger rooms etc. - are getting charged for similar activities? If not, then it may be worth questioning if Zoom is really as “American” or “non-Chinese” as it claims to be!

Ditto^

Interesting, I suppose a little reminder to Google not to remove Tiktok?

Thanks! So far, I’m the only member in my team. I don’t have tech constraints yet, but would prefer something for rapid Dev. I was hoping to get an option or two for rapid dev., like you said. Momentum and small wins are key for me at this juncture than picking up the absolute best option.
