I’m currently Head of Engineering, where I’ve spent the last several years scaling our product and engineering teams.
I’m looking for my next permanent leadership role, but I’m also open to helping out on a contract basis if you’re dealing with the specific pains of scaling. I’m particularly useful if you’re trying to decompose a monolith, transitioning from a startup to a proper scale-up, or need to professionalize your engineering culture without killing the speed.
If you're at that stage where things are starting to break under their own weight and you need someone to help navigate the architecture or the team growth, I’d love to chat.
Tide Platform Banking | Senior Engineer | REMOTE (UK/BG) | Full time
We deal in the fintech space, but with exclusivity on companies and sole traders only. We deliver all the functionality a company can ask for, from invoices, though payments, to loans and insurance. We are expanding very rapidly into new markets and will soon have our series C round. Looking for very experienced back-end engineers to help us deliver a huge backlog, lead teams and contribute with ideas. I work as a tech owner at the company and can say it is truly challenging, but quite rewarding as tech here has a very large real role in product decisions.
Remote: Yes
Willing to relocate: Depends
Technologies: Java, JS/TS, Spring, React, AWS, Basic Python and ML, people, team and budget management, project and area leadership
