Does anybody know what Chuck Moore does right now? I was following a while his posts on patent lawsuite but then he went quite.

Is there an option to turn off all mitigations? A public hoster is different to my local build server where security is not an issue and only performance counts.

Linux 5.2 is supposedly introducing a flag that does exactly what you want.

Part of the mitigations is a microcode update, which may be embedded in your computers firmware (BIOS/UEFI). You could of course _not_ update your server firmware, but it could make you vulnerable to all kinds of security issues.

I believe there are some Linux kernel parameters to tune things.

Instead of embedding code inside org-mode it should be the opposite: embed org-mode inside comment sections. However this is not easily possible because of ‘*’ gobbling up beyond the comment section. (At least for c)

I'm not sure that makes as much sense. At that point, why not just use regular comments? Then add outshine-mode if you want a tree of headlines.

It would be revolutionary to get rid of all anonymity. I think the term revolutionary applies to the cyber realm only.
