You and I both.

Who uses Edge on Linux?

I do. I use it, alongside other browsers, because I prefer different browsers for different types of tasks.

Worse, because many projects have INSTALL.md which is intended to be read and followed by humans, not LLMs.

(If LLMs can follow it, so be it, but at least humans remain the target audience.)

Can say install.md is to INSTALL.md what conventional are to ad-hoc commit messages.

If you can tell it instructions, and you know you can tell it instructions, then how smart do you have to be to realize that "omit emojis" is an instruction you can use? If what you said is true, I have no hope...

Being in nature, all alone is not social though, is it? Why are people so frustrated? What am I missing?

FWIW, it is dangerous to wear headphones in the city and listen to music, but you can always wear only one side. It is not comfortable, but that is how you remain safe without being an ass.

Let's say I'm out in the woods, being non social. And someone comes up the path, playing music loudly. Now I'm being annoyed by people again, which is what I was trying to avoid by being out in the woods. And they're usually on a motorized vehicle, even though motorized vehicles are prohibited on the path.

I'm not trying to tell people how to live their lives. If they want to apprechiate nature in silence, cool. If they want to listen to music, cool ... but it'd be nice if they used headphones and it would be acceptable if they had a speaker at reasonable volume, but when I can hear them before I can see them, it's really not cool.

If they want to walk with a friend and chat, that's ok too.

Transparency modes, bone conduction, lower volume.

Bone conduction is amazing!

Yes, please give us some!

> nothing works completely

Such as? Everything has been working for me the past >20 years.

As for X vs. Wayland: you do not have to care about it. Just install a distro with X.

Steam works on Linux, and lots of games run under Linux now thanks to Proton.

I have 8Gb RAM and HDD. Windows 7 works perfectly, windows 10 work acceptable. Linux bad work: horrible performance browser and IDE especially on distr with snap (browser performance near zero). On linux desktop huge problem with shortcuts. I don't know what the DE developers are doing, but I've never been able to get the key combinations I need and find convenient to work without conflicts with the system ones. Or it's just impossible to set them.

Starting with the very basics: hibernation & track pads.

And it is January 16. Jeez.

Yeah, at that point why would anyone choose GitHub?

Yeah, I noticed it a long time ago.

Quality > quantity.
