>rig for local inference for a home agent (powered by four RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Qs)

can you elaborate at all on what sort of rig you went with, beyond the big $$ GPUs?

It's a home desktop form-factor with 8x48gb DDR5 6800, 9985WX, a whole lotta fans and a 1600W PSU. Max-Qs are the only card you can fit four of into this rig without PCIe extenders or cooking themselves, unless you go water cooled (which I didn't).

would a self-hosted all-in-one solution be a viable alternative that doesn't split these all up into separate cloud hosted apps? it's been years since i've explored anything other than github/gitlab/etc.

Fossil does all of this, and has a better VCS for my use case than git does. https://fossil-scm.org

Right? Yeah, everything's decoupled and "flexible", but if your stack is dependent on half a dozen different third parties uninterested or uninvested in your project, you gotta watch like a hawk for when those services decide they need to be worse and charge more.

Like a hawk? If GitHub was down while you slept, would you notice?

Those third parties will be more invested in you as a customer than GitHub is.

would you rather it phrased they are guilty and associated with the same religion? what's the gripe here?

looks like they can request your passcode to unlock the phone so anything local and/or cached before they disable network connectivity would be there.

This is an element of 1Password's travel mode, if i understand it correctly...

I'd guess the semantics is along the lines of she was still arrested, and any legal recourse she may have will take time and money with likely zero repercussions to the police dept.

seems to mostly be one person with multiple accounts, but they are getting rightly buried.

maybe tangentially related but i've found cloudflare's email routing useful to just send emails to blah@customdomain.com sent to blah@myemail.com. i'm not sure if it's limited to domains registered with them though.

Thanks, I’ll have to check that out. All my domains are with them anyway so this could be just what I was after!

most local tv news stations being owned by two right-wing conglomerates doesn't help either

XCOM (Executive Committee) was my least favorite at one of the soulless corps i worked at years ago.

You say in another comment this slipped through testing. Can you elaborate on exactly what was caught in internal testing?
