Summary:

Ex technical co-founder & CTO (hands on); 12 years of experience; After 2 years of bootstrapping a gen ai startup, team of 4 engineers and 200k AAR, I am looking for my next challenge. Built a voice AI SaaS platform from 0 to 70+ customers handling 10s of thousands of call minutes, including things like:

- Knowledge base (embedding + RAG)

- Agentic workflows/tools calling

- 3rd party integrations (calendars, CRMs, etc)

- LLM evaluation + observability system

- and more...

Looking to keep up the pace without having to deal with VCs and worrying about balance sheet!

Are you trying to stay (at least tangentially) in that space?

Thanks!

Another, more recent example, is Farfetch (FTCH). European startup that went public on NYSE

I have been building an e-commerce website[1] from scracth (I know I could have used shopify or similar but I wanted to learn the ins and outs) to sell motivational posters. Tried a few ads but seems like there is no market for this kind of posters. Probably shutting it down soon....

Hi, for someone who is interested in starting contracting in UK, what should one know about taxes? Did you have to create a limited company? Could you please advise Thank you.

You don't have to make a limited company but it might be necessary for some contracts. You might also have to carry insurance. An umbralla company might also be appropriate for you, especially if you're not 100% sure. It has been a few years since I quit contracting (to start my own company) so some of this stuff might be old.

Definitely read about IR35 and how it might affect you.

In all cases, an accountant can answer these questions for you, even if you're not sure you want to commit.

yes, i am trying to investigate the market of people who spend money on wines. Thanks for pointing me in the (right) direction!

Hi, do you accept candidates from Europe who want to relocate to Australia?

Could you tell a little bit more about ritalin? I mean there are a lot of side effects, which might be not worth it. I also have a lot of trouble to focus, on stuff that are not interesting, for longer than 30min, and although i have not been diagnosed with TDAH, i have been thinking about trying out some meds.

The main points of it is that it increases arousal so it is much easier to focus on what is important right now (fight or flight state, you don't zone out if there is an angry bear in front of you).

The side effects comes from the increased arousal as well, for me it means my heart rate increased from 60 bpm to 80, I sleep 1 hour less per night and it is easier to miss meals so I have lost some weight. I have tried several other forms of psychoactive medications before and this have the least negatives and most positives so far.
