exactly right. This is certainly not the reason why $ is in front of the figure. The real reason is to make clear that this is priced in Dollars and not in some other 3rd world currency.

If I understand correctly you are basically selling a cnc drawing machine for 150$. I dont know if there is a market for that especially in the demographic that you are targeting. Why would a teenager not just print their artwork at the local library for 20 cents? Sure with your machine you can draw on all kind of materials thats good!

That's correct! The machine is in exchange for sharing your art program.

Anything that helps people get hired is good! Oftentimes these referral bonuses are tiny peanuts in comparison to what they would pay a recruiter. I assume you could ask your company's hr department for permission to refer in this way.
