Directly related to computing are the capabilities of asking questions. Why is that? Because the computer, being a tool to solve problems benefits from asking the right questions so you can solve them.
Sinte the problem is usually within other peoples mind, you need to be good at extracting this knowledge from them.
Hence the need for knowing how to ask.
If you add the issue of emotional barriers, then knowing how to handle difficult questions is even more powerful.
A different perspective.
We all have our shadows, of things we believe to be but hurt us .
When we need advice its usually about these topics. So the advice conflicts with our beliefs and we cannot act on them .
Since these beliefs are hidden (shadows) then we ha e feelings against the advice and we rationalize why its wrong.
In the proposed analysis, the answers are rationalizations of the feelings we have.
Appreciate your response. Could you describe what actions you took to move on the bell. Already I'm trying to talk to strangers more. I'm trying to strike some sort of balance between putting myself out of my comfort zone and being authentic to how I'm feeling in the moment. But progress is slow enough to be almost unnoticeable.
A different take...
Pylling the air might be a symptom if compulsive thoughts, makes with action.
These thoughts are deep and come to you in situations of being not busy.
Maybe the inner thoughts are related to not being connected to your emotions?
There is hope, but i suppose we need to talk some more
FOMO is an expression of insecurity, that im not good enough here, so there it would be different.
But guess what... The same person, you, is still there with the same insecurity.
So what happens? FOMO again
See a pattern?
Work on the insecurity and the FOMO will cure itself.
There is no avoidance of the emotional work needed
If you add the issue of emotional barriers, then knowing how to handle difficult questions is even more powerful.
