What's marathon?

Bungie game.

One of the original shooters where you're a Marine getting orchestrated by a series of warring AI at different stages of rampantcy.

Lol terminal is better for everything except maybe the one case you mentioned: first time use feature discovery, and that's debatable

That seems a little harsh. GUI tools can give us a more vibrant and useful interface.

But, I think the main problem is that although there have been many attempts we have not gotten to a standard way to compose different GUI tools easily or repeat actions.

I spend half or more of my time debugging and I think I would quit if I were forced to only use terminal based tools.

I am sure you would!

In the past three weeks a couple of projects I follow have implemented AI tools with their own github accounts which have been doing exactly this. And they appear to be doing good work! Dozens of open issues iterated, tested and closed. At one point i had almost 50 notification for one projects backlog being eradicated in 24 hours. The maintainer reviewed all of it and some were not merged.

Heartily agreed. It is so good to see much needed shaming get doled out once in a while.

Colemak is objectively decent !

But not for those who has no qwerty experience.

Colemak is objectively decent even if you never knew qwerty. Even if you move C V X Z you can only make a layout a tiny bit better than colemak. I don't know why you are on this crusade, its silly.

Edit your llm generated comment or at least make it output in a less annoying llm tone. It wastes our time.

focus on Security over performance

graphene has said only flagships at first, but eventually they hope to end up on lower tier devices.

Looks like I might have to wait for sometime then but still I am pretty excited about it yea!

The future is now (or 2027)! 4" screen and hardware keyboard and graphene!

I cannot overstate my excitement.

Unlocked baotloaders are mandatory to install graphene, but so is the ability to re-lock the bootloader.

Not if it comes preinstalled though. Isn't that the point of the partnership?

Doesn't seem to be, announcement only talks about GrapheneOS compatibility.
