Don’t worry the rich will offer pennies to the natives for their ruined lands

Reverse-Engineered the TiinyAI Pocket Lab From Marketing Photos. Here's Why Your $1,400 Is Probably Gone.

The best way to fight this is to start saying we can only support true Christianity - Jehovah Witnesses or Mormons. The evangelicals that push for these kinds of things hate those 2 groups

So we pay for oil from our “enemy” and fund them while fighting a war w them. I think they were thinking of doing this w Russia also. Basically paying to kill our troops while spending lots of money to send our troops there in the first place.

Well... we allow other people to pay for oil from our enemy. Then they don't need to buy oil from the same places we buy oil from, so the price goes down.

That doesn't make it any less weird that we're letting up pressure with one hand and bombing them with the other. But we aren't also sending them money... as if that made a difference.

Was it on purpose? I’m sure politician buddies hate that people still have job they can get a pension with, when instead they could be taking that tax payer money and buying children on islands

Wonder what an unemployed developer would think about losing jobs to vibe coders, especially if they get paid more or the salary is the same. And then not be considered for a role as a vibe coder because you do things the “old way”

I don't know,.any developer who would not deliberately decide to not use ai would be easily becoming better in using ai as any non technical person.

Non technical people are usually not even able to use versioning software in a good way.

A developer could hold the ai on the rails. And understood when things go in the wrong direction.

So yes pure vibe coding might be a thing. But I don't think vibe coders would outperform developers if the dev would also use an ai in any form. Of course maybe they are cheaper. But no real competitors on the same level.

Wrong, Hawaii and New Mexico ( which included parts of Arizona, Colorado and Texas) do

That's fair (I live in NM).

But I would still say that the status of lower-48 states is quite different than, say, Belarus and the USSR.

Yes, Nuevo Mexico existed prior to becoming part of the US, but most of the distinctive identity-forming elements of Nuevo Mexico have been lost or significantly diminished (for a variety of reasons).

I know nothing of Hawaii, the situation there may be similar or very different.

The USSR existed for only about 70 years. There were likely people alive at its creation who were still alive as the eastern European states left it. That's a very different scenario than NM (which effectively entered the US in 1848 with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo).

The Supreme Court doesn’t care. That’s the #1 sign the country is over, it’d take a miracle to get out of this decline. And then everyone is just going to be pardoned. There were no ethics baked into the constitution, that was the fatal flaw, even businesses have such things to prevent lawsuits or internal drama or issues

You can see this even in the US. I know too many people stuck in places with few or no opportunities and moving up is hard because they age out or didn’t go to a big name university or work at big name companies. The bias is there

Interviews are easy to get, going through 4-8 rounds and making it through is not.
