As a teenager, I would say I still like reading books (I'm in EU) but one of the things that makes us hesitate is the dopamine we can get from IG or even Discord servers!! It's so easy to lose the attention during reading a book.

Attention is like a muscle, if you don't exercise it you lose it. But you can get it back by exercising it. Just read far enough from your phone/laptop/smartwatch

Does that mean we should worry more in the coming years? The point about Chinese tech companies is that they're really innovative, especially in recent years! on the other side, there's no high level of transparency of what they do/intend.

I guess we could expect more innovation in such a highly regulated space, regarding that Chinese government really supports these kinds of advancement. Not so sure what would happen in the dark side.

idk u can't really infer their end goals with such limited information but this itself is probably just a tiny tiny piece of a greater objective, plan, or whatever else is the root cause.
