On the subject of sensitive info:

Google supposedly implemented an auto delete feature for OTP messages within 24h in their own Messages app. I couldn't find it on my dated Moto G7 though (Android 10).

I any app I tend to favourite/pin my most frequent contacts and sources of messages and usually manually bulk delete the rest.

Funny story is that SMS do have a standard for sensitive info (Class 0 - not stored on the device) but I haven't seen that being used since the time of bulletproof Nokias :)

Yeah, the Google Messages app (stock on Pixels and many other phones) does have the ability to auto-delete OTPs but seems the feature has only rolled out to India for now: https://www.theverge.com/2021/6/29/22555333/google-messages-...

I would love to have this on my 4a, but Google is notoriously slow at rolling out features.

- Cat6 copper and multiple sockets in every room

- 19" Mini rack to hold patch panel and the rest of stuff

- ISP provided cable model/router set in bridge mode

- Mikrotik RB2011 as the main router / fw / wifi

- Synology DS211j as NAS with two 2TB disks in mirror

- Raspberry PI 2 to handle all stuff that's supposed to be running constantly

- PXE boot for multiple OS'es from router / NAS config

Most of the setup was done a long time ago hence some dated equipment but it works for me
