He had guests more famous than Rogan before ever going on JRE.
Steven Pinker and Eric Schmidt were in the first ten guests and Elon Musk wasn’t long after. I’m sure Rogan got him more high profile cage fighters and that type of guest, though.
Yes. Movement in an action game feels inherently better at 60fps than at 30fps. Metroid Zero Mission (2004), and Metroid Dread (2021) both feel extremely crisp and precise compared to Metroid: Samus Returns (2017) which runs at 30fps.
The biggest complaint that Bloodborne gets, outside of not being available on PC, is that it's locked to 30 fps.
I can't think of a single reason where a game at 60fps would be more fun at 30fps.
Might've worded it poorly. Just meant that a game running at 60fps is always better than that same game running at 30fps. In the worst case scenario, they're the same game.
Depends, some might be willing to make that trade. I think most consoles are making that option of performance or visuals these days. As an option, letting the user choose seems to be more the norm these days.
If i'm playing plugged in I would want better visuals (as the switch allows with the dock) the primary reason being more power available.
1. Lichess rating is ~200-300 points ahead of a Chess.com rating. Not in the sense that players are better, but an 800 player on Chess.com will probably be 1000-1100 on Lichess.
2. Fantastic analysis tool. Chess.com analysis tends to be a bit funky sometimes.
3. Zen Mode. Not really a pro / con, but it's nice to hide the UI and just have a board on the screen when playing.
4. Free, obviously. No ads.
5. Younger audiences may want to play where their favorite streamer plays, which tends to be Chess.com for nearly everyone unless you're Eric Rosen. Hikaru Nakamura, GothamChess, Magnus Carlsen, Botez Sisters, Anna Cramling, and Chessbrah are all on Chess.com.
6. Chess.com has better puzzles, although limited on the free tier.
I don't have exact numbers on population for both platforms, but if someone can correct me, I'm fairly sure Chess.com holds the majority of players.
