well since you're using Java/JavaScript/R on a daily basis I would recommend Dartlang. It has futures, awaits/async, enum, SIMD. Works in client and server side. Its also really fast. www.dartlang.org

Stop doing your coding in a framework. I know coding something big in JS is not ideal and thats why Google made Dart.

Any news on Dart VM in chrome? I was planning to make a 3D game that uses SIMD but realized JS doesn't support it yet. Are they waiting for ES7?
