Is this country-specific? I've owned plenty of OnePlus devices over the years and the have all being unlockable without any issues, or without having to ask anything from anyone.

At some point OnePlus announced that they will stop sharing firmware blobs. Lineage os team announced that they will be dropping the support. Then after another few years they were back. I remember because I bought 3 and I was planning to stay with that brand because of easy unlock (via ADB), decent price and good Lineage support. Probably OnePlus reconsidered this at some point. Right now fairly new ones have support. Maybe OP was unlucky and bought one of those models from this period of time.

This has nothing to do with the unlocking though. Unlocking a OnePlus phone is just standard procedure and requires no involvement by the manufacturer.

Certainly, every tool is supposed to make our work easier or more productive, but that doesn't mean that every tool is intuitive or easy to learn to use effectively or even to use it at all.

Certainly, but aren't AI tools supposed to be intuitive and easy to use because we can communicate with them in natural language?

With VIM or Emacs I am supposed to know what Ctrl-X does. But with AI tools (ideally) I should be able to ask AI (in English) to edit the document for me?

Maybe the reason we can't do it that way is that, "We're not there yet"?

Honestly, I've never used Postman and I kinda want to start using it now just because of the tone the post has been written with.

Interesting. I love 5 + Brave New World, I think it's my favourite Civ. I bought 6 on a sale (so it had been released for a while) and I found it awkward and clunky so I never really managed to get into it and went back to 5. Are you suggesting the game improved after that? In what way?

This happened nearly 13 years ago. It didn't last for very long: https://yro.slashdot.org/story/12/09/22/1319216/ubuntu-will-...

I love Cx File Explorer, I just wish it had a split screen view like Solid Explorer has.

On a phone it's fine, but on a tablet, being able to copy things between the two screens is a game changer.

I still prefer Cx because, for some reason, it's about 2.5x faster than Solid when copying files from an SMB volume.

Indeed! And even worse, some services will happily accept "+" in email fields, but then some part of the service fails to encode the "+" sign correctly, so some features may be broken in unexpected ways.

Sometimes you can't even contact Customer Services because "your account doesn't exist" (because you cannot feed the correct email address to their customer service site).

Thankfully it's rare, but when it happens it's extremely infuriating.

Yep, the tool only seems to be accepting .zip files.

I managed to upload a file successfully by zipping a .js file. The file upload successfully, but then when I received the results a few minutes later, the zip file containing the results was empty.

Hey, yeah this is an issue that we are aware of and has since been rectified.
