Even if it is ZKP still… whole idea is just bad. I mean whole age-veryfication done by gov is bad.

And forcing one to use smartphone is even worse.

Same feeling… but. For me fastest and easiest way to manage files are coreutils (sometimes with help of rsync/zmv/zcp). And that way I always have exactly same toolset no mather where I am logged in (local pc, server, router, etc).

I'm using GUI File Manager only for multimedia (photos, movies, pdf files).

Just renaming a single file, with a rather LONG file name that includes spaces and other symbols that need to be escaped, can take FAR longer at the BASH prompt, than starting up nnn and doing it there. Same goes for moving several of the most recently updated files to another folder, or similar.

Is there any alternative with ~A5 size?

I take a lot of notes, schematics, etc in paper notes a5 and I was thinking about moving to digital world, but definietely not for the price of any remarkable device…

Got kindle for reading - and I just love it, got back at reading everyday, and that was problematic with standard, paper books.

^ this.

"Open Banking" is just… not open at all. Misleading name.

Had similar idea - just to pull my own data, tag transactions, etc etc, and have a nice stats. Nope, it is so "open" that it's just impossible to pass for single-user idea. "Open Banking" just gives me opportunity to show in my Bank A part of data from Bank B.

I would love to ditch things like locking car, home, hiding stuff, etc, but unfortunately there are individuals (a way less than 0.2% of people) that makes us to…

Few days ago I was surprised when video started in dubbed mode… I always watch everything in original audio, and turn subtitles when needed. At least for audio I found a setting, but titles… WHY?!

Thanks for sharing addon :)

> The few small-ish phones that have existed have mostly been cheap and underpowered.

I would say that for last years it was quite the opposite… Asus Zenfone was a bit smaller, and few others… all of them being on the more pricey range. I do not remember anything <€500 worth buying…

I remember having few years ago phone from "Note" series… and yet - it was smaller than "normal" nowadays.

For me it just proves how ineffective big companies are…

And how much of a sucker consumers who care about the social clout of brands are

Even if the estimate is correct - end of time and chime does not mean you can open door as it's still locked ;D

I have SOS Inoperative in car. Contacted the dealer, it seems like it can be software issue - where update will fix it… But I have to pay for it. Pay for a software bug!

For me it's just another stupid notification to close after getting in car, just after "no seat belts fastened in rear" - yeah, 'coz nobody here!

Giving me notification about unnecessary things, but when one module failed and got car in limp mode - nothing showed, I was just shocked when car couldn't accelerate as expected… during overtake. Yeah, safety.
